Get lost in one of the many small and narrow streets in Bangkok’s Chinatown. It’s vibrant and energetic, full of street food stands selling the most traditional Chinese food. You can try some for as little as 50 Baht.

Party on the legendary Khao San Road. It is an imperative stopping point for any traveler in the Thai Capital. Hop from bar to bar, eat one or two bugs and finish with an authentic Thai massage.
Soi Cowboy
One of the dark sides of Thailand is connected to its history with prostitution. Soi Cowboy is one of its biggest examples in the center of Bangkok. Hundreds of women dance in the bares and on the streets and offer their services to the passers.
Royal Palace
This is the most important temple in Bangkok. It was used as the official home to the royalty till mid 20th Century and it is still used for many official ceremonies. Inside you can check, among many impressive temples, the Wat Phra Kaew known as the temple of the Emerald Buddha. The ticket is expensive but can you visit Bangkok without visiting its most famous touristic point?

Wat Triamit – Golden Buddha
Wat Traimit, or temple of the golden Buddha, is located almost at the entrance of Chinatown. The statue on its premises weighs an impressive 5.5 tons and is estimated to be worth 250 milion euros.

Wat Saker – Golden Mount
The Golden Mount offers one of the best panoramic views over Bangkok. The climb to the top is made through a rather wild garden and it’s full of Buddhist related figures.
